Opening for JazzFest:
Beauty and the Beat signed to perform as the opening act for Lansing Jazz Fest on Saturday August 2nd. Katelyn Rae and Peter Paul are excited to be a part of such a great tradition as Lansing's JazzFest. This is the 14th year and the Festival expects there to 15,000 people to gather on the streets of Lansing's Old Town.

2 Shows at Yankee Doodle Days:
Beauty and the Beat to perform twice during Grand Ledge's annual Yankee Doodle Days Festival. Beauty and the Beat will be the headliner for a concert on Saturday June 21st. They will also appear as a part of a group of Michigan Home Grown Music acts during the Open Mic on Sunday afternoon.

Young Americans:
Katelyn Rae will leave to join The Young Americans in August. She is excited to join such a prestigious performance group and work to promote the arts with youth around the world. She is also excited to represent Michigan as she travels across the United States and around the world.
